We are very proud of our rich traditions and of the educational accomplishments of our students, faculty, volunteers, and community. At Our Future Our Family, we strive to ensure our children are engaged in an environment focused on high expectations reflecting academic, social and emotional development. Our team is especially motivated to sustain the positive culture of kindness within our building.

Our youngest learners begin their academic careers surrounded by a highly skilled and dedicated faculty, staff, and volunteers. The planning of instructional opportunities to activate young minds in a culture of curiosity becomes the focus of daily routines within our school.

The collective effort to strive toward 21st-century excellence within an environment conducive to our children achieving their full potential is impressive. We will continue to set high expectations for our diverse learners. Our strong programming is built upon the Our Future Our Family mission of Focused on Learning for Every Student Every Day.

Community Outreach Center

Helping Students Succeed

Here at Our Future Our Family Youth & Young Adult Center, we provide services for urban and rural schools immediately after normal school hours every Monday to Thursday during the school year. We enlist the services of various tutors and mentors from local colleges and universities to provide one-on-one mentoring and tutoring assistance to the scholars in our program. We work closely with the partner school administration to provide homework assistance that aligns with the school curriculum, as well as with the state and national standards. Our community outreach center also communicates periodically with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to understand and meet the needs of our scholars academically, emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Our Future Our Family Youth & Young Adult Center in Baton Rouge, LA is a community outreach center that’s dedicated to providing children and families with programs and services that will help uplift their lives. We provide after-school programs that are designed to assist schools in urban and rural communities. Through our community outreach efforts, we hope to help build a society where each member is equipped with the skills and knowledge to overcome issues in the community and more.
